RMCF Members are invited to attend a Creation Weekend Workshop designed to equip families to defend their faith against the atheistic philosophy of Evolution.

The workshop will be held at Holly Hills Bible Church on the weekend before the Jewish New Year, Saturday September 27, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Families with kids ten years and older are encouraged to attend and do hands-on activities designed to develop observational skills and training in important principles of design in nature which refute evolution. Parents will facilitate for their kids, and be challenged as well!



Session One: Archaeological Dig
Learning Activity with Bill Browning
09:00 to 10:15 a.m.

This workshop will equip attendees with knowledge of the principles of design which allow us to readily identify whether objects are the result of random chance or an intelligent designer.

Archeologists never have trouble distinguishing ancient human artifacts from products of random chance processes. By analyzing artifacts discovered in our dig, we will establish design principles that allow us to model the attributes of design. The following activities will be used to achieve this goal:


1. Digging up artifacts and recording observations

2. Classification of objects by similarity and by "chance" vs. "designed"

3. Identification of Design Principles

4. Payley's argument for the Watchmaker and application to the human eye.

-The human eye biochemical cascade

5. Observing mouse trap mutations and extinction--the principle of irreducible complexity

6. A model of the flagellum motor settles the question: No Evolution

7. Morphological Sequences: the Genealogies of a Button and modern horses

-intermediate forms

Session Two "Evolution Deception"
Presentation by Lou DeGraves
10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

This lively presentation has delighted young audiences around Denver, and addresses Creation vs. Evolution. Lou's dynamic approach keeps kids attentive, while providing knowledge plus ability, and strengthening our faith in the Word of God. Don't Miss It!




Adam's Birthday Party (and hymn sing):
11:15 to 12:00

We will BYOL and enjoy a brown bag luncheon, as well as a birthday cake for Adam, who will be 5768 years old on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, which begins on the following Monday. Drinks will be provided.



Session Three. God's Language of Life
Learning activity with Bill Browning
12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

In this workshop, we examine amino acid handedness (the fingerprint of Creator) information theory, and the intelligent message of the DNA code, which requires a Sender and a receiver.

1. The cell: a Protein Factory that requires a blueprint

2. Proteins are chains of Amino acids.

3. Probability: Could amino sequences occur by chance?

4. DNA code: like the Morse code; How many letters in God's alphabet of life?

5. DNA modeling: the LOVE Code

6. In the Beginning there was Information

7. Not by chance, but fearfully and wonderfully made!
