Worship leaders everywhere will be observing Creation Weekend by presenting a message highlighting the truths of Biblical Creation and its relevance to the gospel.

The seminar will be presented by the Institute for Creation Research, covering recent results from their research project called "Radioisotopes and the Age of the Earth (RATE)".

The conference will be held at the Colorado Community Church on Saturday, September 15, 2007, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Colorado Community Church is located at 3651 South Colorado Boulevard. (Colorado and Hampden).

Program Content:

The program is entitled "Thousands, Not Billions," and will feature several ICR researchers who will give presentations on young earth evidences, including Helium retention in granites, Carbon 14 retention in diamonds, and research on fossil radiation, called radiohaloes. The research data strongly support a young age for the earth and the hypothesis that there has been a rapid radioactive decay in the geologically recent past, which explains why rock dating methods give erroneously old ages. Once again, science lines up with the Bible.
