six day creation restoration by jesus christ
corruption by adam and eve judgement and catastrophe by a world wide flood

But we have the Good News of the Gospel, that God has provided a Savior and Redeemer. The fourth "C" is the same as the first--Christ. Christ was Creator. In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and everything was Created by Him (Jn 1).

Our sin ruined the world that Christ created, but even though mankind turned their back on Him, He did not abandon us. He continued to care for us. Even when our sin separated us from Him, Christ was willing to die to pay the penalty for sin, and to raise us to new life, a Restoration. Our Creator is our Redeemer.

This can be our Lively Hope, as we accept Him as Savior. And we have the covenant made with Noah that never again will God send a global flood--You see, with Christ, death is conquered, and Life wins!

And we can see a symbol of the promise of Restoration in the Grand Canyon, too. The myriad of re-vegetation and life forms that have sprung up there; The Grand Canyon is a spiritual lesson as well as a science lesson. What we see in God’s World conforms with what we see in God’s Word.
