Toucan |
![]() A relatively small bird with an enormous beak is found in the Brazilian rain forest. There are around 40 species of toucans, with only minor differences in the size and coloration of the beaks. So they probably are represent a single created kind. Despite its large dimension, the beak is actually quite light in weight. It is made of keratin (the same protein that makes up our hair and nails), and is braced with a series of bones. |
